GET TO KNOW ME

I am an enthusiastic, empathetic TV Production graduate, with a First Class Honours degree from The University of Westminster. I recently graduated from a three year course which  enabled me to strengthen my communication, time skills and adaptability skills, learning many roles from pre-production to post-production.

Whilst having previous experience and education in photography, with particular interest in conveying a story through my work, I wanted to further my skills, delving into the industry of Film and Television. I show a particular interest in documentaries as I feel it can bring underrepresented and unspoken topics to life, utilising camera to resonate with viewers.

I have gained experience in a range of roles throughout my studies, particularly involving Cinematography, Directing, Camera operating, Edit producing and Editing. I have utilised these skills in a plethora of genres such as Live TV, Documentaries, Drama, Multicamera, Adverts and promotional shorts. My enthusiasm, positivity and passion allow me to work well within a team, utilising these characteristics to develop my projects.

Outside of University, I further my photography skills, working alongside clients producing property-based advertisements. I have also started to develop a small business outside of my studies creating driftwood frames, collecting supplies from local beaches near my family home in Cornwall, utilising my landscape photography.

Work Experience

Bambino Mio Advert

In early May of 2023, I had the opportunity to work as a runner alongside the production company Top Banana. The production consisted of filming for the sustainable nappy brand Bambino Mio, creating a strong message against disposable nappies and the impact it has on our planet. The work experience was a significant moment in my career and I started to envisage how I would like to work in the future. I benefited from watching well-established TV workers, and witnessing how a production team works as a whole unit whilst learning the key elements of specific roles. I had the opportunity to help throughout shooting days, this included building the set, looking after talent, looking for continuity and being an extra helping hand to direct talent.

Hentervene Holiday Park/ Property marketing

With previous experience and a passion for photography, I had the opportunity to create property marketing photographs for an established holiday park in the north of Cornwall. This consisted of images of nature, accommodation, facilities and local places of interest. This allowed me to experiment with the company’s social media pages. I am now creating a customer handbook for the company and promotional videos to expand onto other platforms such as TikTok. This work taught me the importance of discussing imagery with the client, ensuring you include their vision throughout whilst creating unique images for the company.
